JLee-2008

I am Associate Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Northern Arizona University. I received a Ph.D. in Statistics from The University of Georgia. My research focuses on time series analysis, extreme value models, and interdisciplinary applications of statistics and data science in climatology, environmental science, and public health. Specifically, I am interested in

  • Theory and methods for time series analysis
  • Application of extreme value theory in climatology and environment
  • Time-varying coefficient dynamic regression models
  • Algorithms and methods for large and big data
  • Interdisciplinary research on forestry, epidemiology, and public health
